Gayle: "The weather played a part, but we can’t do much about that. They started off with a flier, but we tried to pull it back. Credit to Dhoni for the way he played in the last over. It was a pretty good wicket to bat on, and I’m disappointed I got out at an important stage. Sarwan was run-out at a crucial point in time. It was a fast outfield and Dhoni ran well to keep our fielders under pressure."

Dhoni is the Man of the Match.

Dhoni: "The D-L method got us onto the back foot. We weren’t able to use the second powerplay. The openers started well, and the bowlers did a good job too. We rely on our openers to perform, and Gambhir was the sheet anchor today, playing the spinners well, over the covers and midwicket. He’s also a good runner between the wickets. We knew the last over would come from the end where a swing over the leg side would carry to the ropes with the help of the strong wind, and it worked."
