Finally the 3rd test match between India and Australia finished in draw. VVS Laxman played a major role in this draw and he got the Man of the Match Award.
Laxman Says "I have always enjoyed playing against them. Unfortunately we couldn’t win the game but all of us put a good show. The wicket was slow, it was important to get adjusted to the pace of the wicket. Sachin and Gambhir put up a good partnership after the early wickets. On the third day we missed Anil .. he was unfortunately injured and we couldn’t put much pressure on them.
On his 100th Test coming up: It will be a great moment. It’s a dream of every cricketer who plays for his country. It has been a long journey. It was nice to score in this game, the last game played by Kumble. He has been a great role model. All of us are really proud to play with him. Even his last wicket, if you see, we were dropping sitters and he took that difficult catch."
