Scoreline: Chennai 116/9 – Brett Lee 4-16-0, Romesh Powar 4-19-1
Punjab fall away – 92/8 – Muttiah Muralitharan 4-8-2, R Ashwin 4-13-2, Suresh Raina 4-17-2
Yuvraj: "We needed that win, we are pretty disappointed. Unfortunately for us, nobody got going. We didn’t get a good partnership, the wicket was two-paced, and we’ve got ourselves to blame. We enjoyed playing in South Africa. We need to win games when we get into a good position, but we didn’t do that today."
Dhoni: "Ashwin was brilliant throughout. Murali put pressure on the opposition, and them playing him cautiously was a mistake. We got off to a good start, both Gony and Thushara started well. We were a batsman short this game, but in the next game when Albie will be fit, we’ll be a better batting side."
Murali is the Man of the Match for his superb spell.
Murali: "I tried to bowl line and length. The spinners bowled really well, and the pressure got to them. Sometimes it is easy to contain when you’re defending lower totals. Raina’s done well in this tournament, and he should keep going."

Watch cricket highlights – Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore – the 2nd Leg from IPL 2009, played on May 14, 2009
Royal Challengers Bangalore 132 for 8 (Taylor 46, Kohli 38) beat Chennai Super Kings 129 (Hayden 60, Kumble 2-12) by two wickets
Dhoni: "Not really happy. We tried to win a game out of it. Our fielding has been suspect throughout the tournament. We are a safe fielding side, but not a brilliant fielding side. We have a lot of youngsters in the side who can’t throw or run all that well. We were clearly about 20 short. "
Kumble: "It was a fantastic effort. The bowling was brilliant. In the end Ross Taylor saw us through. We stuck to plan. We wanted to get Haydos early on but that didn’t happen. Still overall our plan worked. Kallis bowled brilliantly. We’d like to take it one game at a time."
And the Man of the Match for two games running is Taylor. Kudos. "Hayden put us on the back foot but the bowlers and our fielding put us back in the game. Both teams bowled well. I always though we could finish it but I was disappointed I got out when I did."
