Australia vs South Africa, 2nd Test Day 4, Live Cricket

December 29th, 2008 Posted in Live Matches, Test Match

South Africa began the day trailing by 196 runs with three wickets in hand. The ended it 61 runs ahead of Australia who now have a real fight on their hands.

Duminy scored his maiden Test century – 166 off 340 balls – and was the last man out. He shared partnerships of 67 with Paul Harris and 180 with Dale Steyn, who scored his career best of 76.

Australia didn’t have Lee’s services today because he was suffering with a foot injury and their other bowlers were poor. The few chances they did create were put down – Ponting dropped a catch at slip and Hussey missed one at mid-on.

Australia were expected to take charge of the game today after a strong performance on day two. Instead the game has turned turtle, and South Africa will be gearing up for a strong performance in the field tomorrow. (OOX Player) (SPVOD Player) (TVU) – CBN (Ustream, Flash) – Poor Quality
