Watch cricket highlights from the 3rd day’s play at Perth – SA vs Australia – 1st Test 2008.
Scoreline: South Africa 281 all out. Australia 228/7. Australia lead by 322 runs going into Day 4.

After Mitchell Johnson’s 7 wickets yesterday, Mark Boucher played a handy knock (26) this morning- Johnson got an 8th and could have had the best ever figures by an Australian if it weren’t for Haddin running around like he were chasing his own tail.

Matthew Hayden, back in the ‘First World’ but not among the runs, got a poor decision, but should probably have been given LBW earlier anyway. South Africa got a serious grip on the game a couple of times with a bunch of double breaks – Ponting-Hussey and Clarke-Symonds. But Brad Haddin (who against Indian spinners has proved his proficiency at handling the turning ball) with Jason Krejza led a late fightback for Australia – the 66 run partnership could well be the phase that swings the game the Aussie way. Still not over though for the SA, with a couple of days left to play out.
