October 13 (1500 hrs) In a match of ICL season-2, Royal Bengal Tigers defeated Lahore Badshahs by eight wickets. The match took place at the Lal Bahadur Shastri stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday.After winning the toss, the Lahore Badshah’s captain Inzamam elected to bat first and the team got off to a steady start.The tight bowling attack by Bengal Tigers resulted in the fall of first wicket for Badshahs at 28 runs. Later the score of Tigers was 28 runs in five overs.Sometime later skipper Inzamam fell to the bowling of Upul Chandana after scoring a meager 19 runs. The whole team then followed and the Lahore Badshahs were all down at score of 139 runs in 20 overs.Tigers opened their batting with a good start and at the end of the third over were 25 for no loss. In the sixth over, they surpassed the half century mark, when they finally lost their first wicket at the score of 51 runs. Finally, Bengal Tigers won the game by eight wickets and two overs to spare.Hamish Marshall, with his 76 runs has become the highest individual scorer at ICL season-2.
